A 501(c)(3) community-based organization, Tennessee Harm Reduction doubles as rural West Tennessee’s sole syringe exchange and the Volunteer State’s only openly drug-user-run syringe exchange — a program that’s been in operation since June 2021. In addition to running Tennessee’s most comprehensive online harm reduction resource — its website — THR actively performs research and runs a small drug users’ union..
