About This Agency
Syringe Services Programs provide sterile injection supplies to injection drug users (IDU’s) in Northeastern & Southeastern Minnesota. Equipment provided includes; clean syringes, tourniquets, cottons, cookers, sterile water, alcohol wipes and antibiotics. These locations also provide disposal of used syringes in compliance with federal and state bio-hazard requirements. These harm reduction programs are testing sites for HIV and Hepatitis C with referrals to local infectious disease clinics for confirmatory tests and treatment for reactive results.
